PornSurfer does not host, upload, stream, embed, or produce the adult content found on reviewed websites.
2. Is the PornSurfer mascot a real person?
No. The PornSurfer mascot is a fictional character created to represent the PornSurfer brand. The mascot gives the site a recognizable identity but does not represent a real owner, reviewer, employee, or spokesperson. Statements published on PornSurfer should not be interpreted as the personal views or experiences of the fictional character.
3. Who runs PornSurfer?
PornSurfer is maintained by a team of researchers, writers, editors, designers, and developers. Researchers and writers examine websites and prepare reviews. Editors check the information and presentation. Designers and developers maintain the website's layout, usability, performance, and technical systems. Reviews may identify the individual writer or reviewer responsible for the assessment where appropriate.
4. When was PornSurfer created?
The PornSurfer concept and domain date back to the late 1990s. The platform was rebuilt and brought to life as a modern adult website review directory in 2026. The current version combines the history of the original project with a new design, review system, category structure, and editorial process.
5. How many categories and reviews does PornSurfer have?
PornSurfer currently covers 187 adult website categories. Our roadmap includes plans for more than 12,000 website reviews. This is a future target rather than a claim that every planned review has already been published. Categories and listings may change as websites launch, close, rebrand, change ownership, or move into different areas of the adult industry.
6. How does PornSurfer review websites?
Our team personally visits and tests the websites we review. The assessment may consider content selection and presentation, website navigation, user experience, mobile usability, page speed and technical performance, search and filtering tools, advertising levels, website design, accessibility of key information, pricing and subscription clarity, visible trust and safety signals, and the overall experience offered to users. The exact criteria may vary based on the type of website. A free video site, live cam platform, premium membership site, and AI chat service do not offer the same features, so they should not be assessed in exactly the same way.
7. Does PornSurfer personally test every reviewed website?
Yes. A real member of the PornSurfer team personally visits and examines each website before we publish its review. Our reviews aim to include first-hand observations rather than rewritten marketing claims or summaries based only on other websites. This supports the experience and trust elements associated with strong review content. Google recommends that review pages demonstrate first-hand knowledge, original research, supporting evidence, and clear explanations of what distinguishes one option from another. Testing a website does not mean that we inspect every page, video, profile, user submission, or future update. Reviews reflect the website and information available during our assessment.
8. How does PornSurfer decide which sites rank highest?
Rankings reflect our editorial assessment of which websites provide the strongest experience within a specific category. We may consider content quality and selection, ease of use, navigation and search, page speed, mobile performance, advertising and interruptions, features, pricing and value, reputation, reviewer experience, and significant user reports or complaints. The importance of each factor may differ by category. For example, pricing may matter more for a premium subscription site, while navigation and advertising may carry more weight for a free video site. Rankings can change when we retest a website, receive credible new information, or identify a stronger option.
9. Can a website pay for a higher rating or better review?
No. Websites cannot purchase a higher review score, a more favorable opinion, or a guaranteed ranking. PornSurfer may earn money from affiliate relationships, but commercial compensation does not give an external website control over our written conclusions, criticism, ratings, or factual observations. A review remains an editorial opinion based on our assessment at the time it was written.
10. How does PornSurfer make money?
PornSurfer primarily earns revenue through affiliate commissions. Some outbound links may be affiliate links. PornSurfer may receive a commission when a user follows one of these links and completes a qualifying registration, subscription, or purchase. Using an affiliate link should not increase the price paid by the user. PornSurfer does not process the transaction or receive the user's payment details. Purchases take place directly between the user and the external website or its payment provider.
11. Does PornSurfer own the websites it reviews?
No. PornSurfer does not own or operate the third-party websites listed in its directory. Each reviewed website remains independently responsible for its content, users and performers, moderation, age-verification procedures, privacy practices, security, pricing, billing, subscriptions, refunds, terms and policies, and compliance with applicable laws. A listing, rating, screenshot, or link does not imply ownership, partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement.
12. Why are PornSurfer screenshots censored?
PornSurfer uses censored screenshots to help users identify a reviewed website and understand its homepage design without displaying uncensored explicit material directly on our pages. Every screenshot is censored and manually reviewed by a real person before publication. Censorship may include blurring, pixelation, cropping, covering, or replacing parts of the image. Screenshots appear for identification, commentary, comparison, and review purposes.
13. What should I do if a screenshot has not been censored correctly?
Use the Report a Review Problem option on the relevant review page or email info@pornsurfer.com. Include the PornSurfer page URL, the name of the reviewed website, a description of the image, the part of the screenshot that concerns you, and any supporting information that may help us assess the report. After reviewing the issue, PornSurfer may strengthen the censorship, crop the screenshot, replace it, remove it, or temporarily hide it while the matter is assessed.
14. How can I report a problem with a review?
Every review page includes a Report a Review Problem option. You can use it to report incorrect or outdated information, a broken link, an inactive website, a pricing or ownership change, a misleading description, an improperly censored screenshot, a copyright or trademark concern, or a serious safety or content concern. You may also email info@pornsurfer.com. Include the exact page URL, a clear explanation, and any evidence that supports the request.
15. What may PornSurfer do after receiving a complaint?
PornSurfer reviews credible reports and decides what editorial action is appropriate. Depending on the issue, we may correct or update the review, replace, crop, censor, or remove a screenshot, add a warning or clarification, change a rating or ranking, move the site to a different category, disable the outbound link, temporarily suspend the listing, or remove the listing. Submitting a complaint does not guarantee removal. We assess the specific issue, available evidence, and the content published on PornSurfer. PornSurfer cannot remove content hosted by an external website. Complaints about material on another platform should also be sent directly to that platform or the party with authority over it.
16. Can I submit a website to PornSurfer?
Yes. Website owners, operators, and users may suggest an adult website for review. Send the submission to info@pornsurfer.com and include the website name, the full domain, a short description, the most relevant category, your relationship to the website, any access details needed to test paid features, and relevant pricing or affiliate information. Submission does not guarantee publication, a particular rating, or placement in a category. PornSurfer decides which websites to review based on editorial relevance, user interest, available information, and our publishing schedule.
17. Can a website owner request an update or correction?
Yes. Website owners may request corrections when a PornSurfer review contains information that is inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete. Email info@pornsurfer.com with the review URL, the exact statement that needs attention, the requested correction, supporting evidence, your name and role, and an official company email address where possible. We welcome factual corrections. However, website owners cannot require PornSurfer to remove criticism, change an opinion, increase a score, or provide a better ranking merely because they disagree with the review.
18. Does PornSurfer review AI adult websites?
Yes. PornSurfer may review third-party services involving AI adult chat, AI companion platforms, AI image generation, AI video generation, AI role-play, AI-generated characters, and other adult-oriented AI tools. These platforms remain independently owned and operated. PornSurfer reviews them as external services and does not provide access to their tools through our website. We do not support the use of AI for illegal, underage, stolen, deceptive, or non-consensual material.
19. Does PornSurfer operate AI tools or adult content platforms?
No. PornSurfer does not operate AI chatbots, AI image generators, AI video generators, adult streaming services, live cam platforms, or premium adult content websites. PornSurfer is an editorial review and directory platform. Our role is to test, describe, compare, categorize, and link to independently operated third-party services.
20. Who can use PornSurfer?
PornSurfer is intended only for adults aged 18 or older.
